Alberta’s Nutrition Report Card

About Alberta’s Nutrition Report Card
To improve eating behaviours – particularly those of our youngest residents – it is helpful to understand the current food and nutrition landscape and how government policies and actions may act as barriers or facilitators to positive change.

Alberta’s 2018 Nutrition Report Card is the fourth annual assessment of how Alberta’s current food environments and nutrition policies support or create barriers to improving children’s eating behaviours and body weights.

The 2018 report card has a municipal focus, highlighting grades for 15 indicators and benchmarks specifically related to municipalities.
