$29.76 to $32.20 per hour
The Town of High River is seeking to fill the temporary, full-time ARB, Bylaw & Census Administrator position at the Town’s Joint Administration Building. This is an opportunity to work with the Legislative Services division to use your skills to provide legal administrative support to the Manager of Legislative Services in relation to the Assessment Review Board, Town Bylaws and Municipal Census.
Legislative Services is responsible for leading a number of exciting initiatives in 2019. This position will have a key role is supporting these initiatives. A primary focus will be assisting the Town in conducting a complete review of all the Town Bylaws by the end of 2019. In addition, the municipal census is scheduled to begin in April 2019. This position will be the main support in coordinating and planning the census.
The right candidate will have post-secondary education and training as legal administrative assistant or related field with a minimum of three years administrative experience, preferably within a local government setting. Comprehensive knowledge of the Municipal Government Act is required. Strong written and verbal communication skills are important to this position. The ability to represent the Town in a credible and professional manner by maintaining confidentiality and professionalism is key for achieving in this role.
