Reporting to the Commission Board of Directors, the CAO takes a lead role in managing and coordinating activities for the Commission, providing senior level advice to the Board on issues requiring complex analysis. Guiding the senior management through operational issues and possessing public relations expertise. Financial planning, budgeting, reserve management, strategic planning, coordinating the implementation of strategic planning projects, negotiating franchise agreements, monitoring annual water volumes, maintaining rate model and proposing and implementing rate changes, coordinating infrastructure renewal projects with member municipalities, organizing monthly board meetings.
This postion is a contract position. Which may on average require attention 3 days per week. The commission will provide a competitive compensation rate. The Board would prefer to see 10 years of progressive and successful experience in public administration and a demonstratable skill set.
