This position is a maternity leave coverage for up to 12 months, we are anticipating a start date of early August.
The Town is looking for an energetic information management professional to coordinate a comprehensive corporate records management system for us. Attributes such as analytical thinking, change management, coaching & development, focus on results and relationship building will ensure success in this role. You provide records and information administration expertise to staff, and work closely with all business centres to guide the corporate movement towards electronic document management systems using a variety of technology, such as Laserfische and Workflow.
Possession of recognized industry certification (ARMA, AIIM, CAPAPA) in Records Management, plus a minimum of 2 years corporate records management experience is required, as well as comprehensive knowledge and experience with FOIP. Knowledge of municipal government is a definite asset. You are a self starter who also works well in a team environment, with good verbal and written communication skills.
