The City of Medicine Hat Supply Chain Management (SCM) is looking for a motivated individual to join their team as a Process Analyst to provide planning, development and support for the end-to-end SCM process within the corporate enterprise resource system (ERP). Reporting to the Manager and working closely with IT, business departments and end users, this position will perform requirements gathering, system and process testing and training.
To thrive in this role, you have a solid business and process understanding of supply chain management with a focus on customer service and collaboration. You bring experience solving business process issues as they relate to system integration and improvements. You have strong analytical skills and communication skills with the ability to influence decisions through fact-based analysis and recommendations. You have experience documenting workflow processes and providing improvement recommendations as they relate to business systems. You have sound decision-making capabilities, an understanding of change management processes and thorough working knowledge of computer applications. If you thrive in a team environment, work well under pressure, and have proven self-management skills for planning and prioritizing work and time management, then this is the job for you!
- Successful completion of a two (2) year diploma from a recognized post-secondary or technical institution in Business Administration or Information Technology or related field.
- Three (3) years' relevant experience in a process analyst role focused on supporting ERP and Supply Chain Management solutions.
- Certification or ability to become certified as a LEAN Six Sigma Black Belt.
- An equivalent combination of management approved training and experience may be considered
