Engagement Opportunity – Toolkit for Healthy Communities

The Centre for Healthy Communities, in partnership with the Alberta Real Estate Foundation, is pleased to share the opportunity to attend a virtual engagement session to help inform an exciting and timely project.

The goal of the project is to develop a Toolkit for Healthy Communities that can be used by diverse stakeholders (real estate professionals, planners, developers, consumers, researchers, municipalities, and others). It will help them better understand the health of communities and inform decision-making in the face of COVID-19 pandemic recovery, economic uncertainty, and environmental stewardship. This will be achieved using a combination of scientific and practice-based evidence reviews, and through stakeholder engagement with practice and policy experts like you. For more information on this project, please see a recent article on this work.

The Centre will be hosting two options for virtual engagement sessions:

  • June 7th from 1:00 – 3:00 p.m. MDT
  • June 10th from 9:00 -11:00 a.m. MDT

If you are interested in registering for one of the workshops or learning more about the project, please contact healthy.communities [at] ualberta.ca (healthy[dot]communities[at]ualberta[dot]ca) by May 28th, 2021.
