If you have experience in governance, solid waste management, community engagement, or social inclusion and gender equality at the local government level, you could be a partner in FCM’s international development work.
FCM is looking for Canadian municipalities or local government associations to provide peer-to-peer technical assistance to elected officials and municipal staff in central and southern Jordan, where a growing number of Syrian refugees are settling. FCM covers all travel, lodging and meal costs through funding provided by Global Affairs Canada. We also ensure a safe working environment when travelling abroad.
Find out more about this opportunity and apply online, or contact Elayna Katz to find out how you can join a growing number of Canadian local governments who are making a difference around the world.
