Over the past year, members offered feedback on how the Measuring Inclusion Tool developed through AUMA’s Welcoming and Inclusive Communities (WIC) initiative could be improved. In response to your feedback, we updated the tool and tested it at the Summer Mayors’ Caucus last week. We were pleased that the majority of participants found it useful and thought-provoking.
We are now pleased to officially launch the updated version of the Measuring Inclusion Tool to help you assess your current state of inclusion and measure your long-term progress to become more inclusive:
- A revised scoring system with an equal number of indicators for each level of inclusion, give you a more practical and effective method to rate your community.
- The Tool is now available in two formats: a standard version for paper-based users and an electronic version that automatically calculates the user’s responses.
- Ability to download a Measuring Inclusion Tool Calculator, which allows you to calculate your municipality’s overall scores and present the results using the provided charts.
