New website provides information on Alberta’s environment

September 23, 2015

Wondering about the quality of water in lakes and rivers in your region? Or the health impacts associated with local air quality?

The Alberta Environmental Monitoring, Evaluation and Reporting Agency (AEMERA) has launched a newly redesigned website, to provide open access to information on the condition of Alberta’s environment.

AEMERA has launched the site as part of its mandate to be a comprehensive and trusted source of environmental data and information in Alberta.

The site is designed to be interactive with fully searchable content, including information on how AEMERA is monitoring, evaluating and reporting on key ambient air, water, land and biodiversity indicators in the province. Decision makers such as municipalities are encouraged to explore the information provided on the site to help inform local and regional land use and environmental programs and policies.
