Register for AUMA’s summer Municipal Leaders’ Caucus
Registration is now open for AUMA's summer Municipal Leaders’ Caucus being held from June 12 to 14, at the Camrose Resort Casino in Camrose, Alberta. If you require a hotel room, please contact the Camrose Casino Resort at 780-679-2376 and quote the AUMA Municipal Leaders’ Caucus.
The Caucus is open to all AUMA urban municipality members and will follow the traditional format where members attend one day, according to their municipality's population size.
- June 12 - municipalities under 2,500
- June 13 - municipalities between 2,500 and 10,000
- June 14 - municipalities over 10,000
If you are unable to attend the day that is assigned to your municipality size you are welcome to attend a different day. Please note, your registration is for a one-day event only. The agenda will be very similar from day-to-day so there is no need to attend more than one. However, if you would like to attend more than one day you will be required to pay the registration fee for the additional day(s).
The Caucus also provides members with an opportunity to submit a Request for Decision (RFD) that proposes action on a municipal matter that cannot wait for the resolution process at the annual AUMA convention. Any RFD approved at the June caucus that affects other members will be sent to all regular members so they can advise of any concerns before the AUMA Board reviews the proposed action. The RFD template is available on the AUMA website. The submission deadline is Tuesday, June 6.
