Register for EOEP courses before they sell out!

February 10, 2021

The February offering of the Elected Officials Education Program (EOEP)’s regional collaboration course already has an 18-person waiting list! Registration is open for the next two virtual courses. Act now to secure your spot for Council’s Role in Service Delivery in March and Council’s Role in Strategic Planning in offered in April.

Council’s Role in Service Delivery runs from 7 to 8:30 p.m. on:

  • March 4
  • March 11
  • March 18
  • March 25

Council’s Role in Strategic Planning runs from 2:30 to 4 p.m. on:

  • April 8
  • April 15
  • April 22
  • April 29

These courses will be offered using a hybrid delivery, requiring some pre-reading by participants, along with four video chat sessions. This will allow participants to review material on their own, participate in group discussions, and ask questions during the video chat sessions.

The course will be offered at a rate of $275. Note that this is an increase from the virtual course cost in 2020. This increase is being implemented for two reasons:

  1. EOEP is pursuing a partnership to offer certificates of completion; and
  2. a fee from each course is collected to provide for future updates to course content.

Please note that although EOEP encourages as many members of your council to participate as are interested, each participant must have their own device and individual registration to access course materials and video chats.
