Save the date – Asset Management workshops for elected officials!

AUMA and AAMDC, with support from Infrastructure and Asset Management Alberta (IAMA), are excited to bring you one-day and half-day asset management workshops for elected officials and senior administration!

These workshops are made available through funding received from the Federation of Canadian Municipalities (FCM) Municipal Asset Management Program (MAMP). In partnership with the AAMDC and AUMA, workshops will be offered free of charge.

Starting in March through June, the AAMDC and AUMA will be hosting:

  • One-day introductory workshops for elected officials and senior administrators held in five locations across Alberta; and
  • Five different half-day workshops held in various locations across Alberta.

Topics include:

  • Weathering the storm: Asset management and climate change
  • RISK: How asset management can help!
  • Boring until it is broken: Engaging the public in infrastructure and asset management
  • It's got teeth but doesn't bite: Developing and implementing an effective AM policy
  • "I want a five-star experience for a two-star price": Setting and communicating levels of service (LOS)

  • Tuesday March 6, 2018 – Sherwood Park
  • Tuesday March 27, 2018 – Calgary Area
  • Thursday March 29, 2018 – Lethbridge Area
  • Wednesday April 11, 2018 – Grand Prairie Area
  • Tuesday April 17, 2018 – Lloydminster Area
