Watch your email for the Province’s Police Act survey

The Government of Alberta is currently undertaking a review of Alberta’s Police Act, which includes in-person meetings with a wide array of stakeholders including the Alberta Urban Municipalities Association, Rural Municipalities of Alberta and Indigenous communities and organizations.

This process also includes a survey to elected and administrative representatives of municipalities and Indigenous communities in order to capture their professional perspectives on what works well with the current legislation and on aspects that require revision or clarification.

The information gathered from this survey will inform the next steps of the Police Act review. The survey link will be distributed to members of AUMA directly by the Police Act Review Team.

If you have any questions about this survey or the process, please contact the Police Act Review Team at pareview [at] gov.ab.ca (pareview[at]gov[dot]ab[dot]ca)  or 1-780-217-6236.
