Your input on a provincial odour management framework sought by July 17

June 28, 2017

Are odours an issue for your municipality?  How do you handle odour complaints?  Could a provincial odour management framework benefit your municipality?

Odours are the most common air quality complaints in Alberta.   In response, Alberta Environment and Parks (AEP) is creating a draft Odour Management Framework for the province with a goal to reduce the frequency, intensity, and duration of odour events.

AEP has requested input from municipalities to help inform this process. AUMA and AAMDC have developed a brief odour management survey to gather input that will be shared with AEP in aggregate.  Share your views on these questions by completing this brief survey by July 17.
